- Mau rākau is a pathway that develops a person on their journey to holistic health. Our club is a branch of The National School-of-Māori Weaponry.
- We hold training every Wed from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the Motueka Baptist Church on Greenwood Street during Winter or Te Maatu (Thorps Bush) during Summer.
- Ka timata mai ngā akoranga a te 25 o Hanuere, 2025, ā, ka mutu ngā akoranga a te 11 o Tīhema, 2025. Otirā, ka whakatā mō te kotahi wiki a ngā hararei mō te kura.
- The classes are open to both men and women, young and old.
- Once you start to develop your skills, knowledge and strength, you are able to grade. There are 8 levels:
- Poutahi: Papatūāanuku
- Pourua: Tāne
- Poutoru: Tangaroa
- Pouwhā: Tāwhirimātea
- Pourima: Ahorangi Tū Tauā
- Pouono: Ruaumoko
- Pouwhitu: Maui
- Pouwaru: Tūmatauenga
