Mai Kreationz is the creative vision of Toya Maikuku, a proud Māori wahine of Waikato/Tainui descent who now lives in Motueka. What began as a personal journey making gifts for whānau has evolved into a flourishing business that celebrates Māori identity and creativity.

Tūpuna inspired natural remedies offering healing with te taiao. Proudly whānau Māori owned and created with tīkanga and aroha.

HKKAR Wānanga work with whānau, in particular rangatahi building their confidence, learning how to keep themselves well, teaching them how they can contribute to their families and communities, connecting them to the environment and to their kai and building self-resilience when they come up against challenges outside of their comfort zone.

Taonga Tuku Iho located in the heart of Motueka, is a unique art gallery space celebrating the richness of Māori culture and creativity in Te Tau Ihu (top of the South Island of New Zealand). Its name, meaning “treasures handed down,” reflects a deep respect for whakapapa, tradition, and artistic innovation.

We are based in Kaiteriteri and run cultural waka experiences along the Abel Tasman coastline to Toka Ngāwha (Split Apple Rock).
