E te iwi moana, we celebrated a very special milestone.
Our second waka taurua was blessed at beautiful Kaiteretere.
It was an early start at 6am, and we are grateful to everyone who joined us to mark this moment together.
They have been named, “Karanga Weka” (by Hoturoa Kerr) and “Kakano – sown from Raiatea”. Ngā mihi nui to all who came to support, to share in the wairua, and to acknowledge the kaupapa of our waka. they have been named, “Karanga Weka” (by Hoturoa Kerr) and “Kakano – sown from Raiatea”.
