Last Thursday night, 30th July, Te Tai o Awatea Trust were honoured to host our 2nd ‘Hui Whakapiri’ for the Papatohu we launched last year in an attempt to create a local Māori business network so that we can strengthen our whakawhānaungatanga (relationships), help to guide and assist those businesses in growing capacity through mentoring, PATH Planning (Planning Alternative Tomorrows with HOPE) and offering opportunities to partner with us in delivering unique, cultural experiences to our overseas clients.
Despite what we see and hear on the headlines, we anticipate there are huge opportunities to be had within the Ōhanga Māori space in the coming weeks and months thus believe we need to pull together for strength and support for benefit of our community.
